Edward is the Quality and Service Manager at RIFT Group, where he ensures that RIFT’s Customer Care, Compliance, Admin and Quality departments all run like clockwork. One of his key accomplishments has been implementing changes to ensure that RIFT’s systems and services keep pace with HMRC’s evolving refund processes, making sure that our customers are never caught off-guard by rule changes or left missing out on the full value of their claims.
Before stepping into his current role, Edward was a Personal Tax Team Leader in the Operations department, where he honed his skills in tax and customer service. With a background in mathematics, he’s also ATT-qualified and holds Level 2 and 3 ATT certifications.
When he’s not at work, Edward has a wide range of hobbies, from scuba diving to home-brewing beer. He’s also an avid runner and loves competing in CaniCross (trail running with his dog) alongside his rescue German Shepherd.
Edward says: “Helping people find their way through the intricacies of their financial and tax situations is both challenging and extremely rewarding. In an average week, RIFT will typically handle over 700 tax refund claims for our customers, resulting in tax refunds worth a combined £700,000. That’s why it’s great to see how positively people talk about us, with 85% loving how easy it is to make their refund claims with us, and 93% saying how much they appreciate the expertise we bring.”
